Camera Operations Specialist - US
Join Spiideo as the hands-on owner of our US camera fleet: ship it, fix it, track it, and keep the games rolling
Keep the cameras rolling 🎥
Every week, Spiideo's cameras capture thousands of games across North America — That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Camera Operations Specialist to be the on-the-ground owner of our portable camera fleet in the US. You'll keep cameras moving — in, out, and across customer events — and keep them working, so that every team, league, and broadcaster we support gets a game-ready unit, every time.
If you like a job where you're on your feet, working with real equipment, solving real problems, and seeing the direct result of your work on game day — this one's for you.
What you will do
Own the fleet. Build and maintain a clear, up-to-date inventory of cameras and accessories, organized around the events and seasons Spiideo supports throughout the year. At any moment, you'll be the person who knows exactly where every camera is.
Run the logistics. Be our primary point of contact for all US shipping — placing outbound UPS orders, tracking shipments, coordinating returns, and filing claims when packages go missing or arrive damaged.
Back up the Customer Success team. When a CSM needs a replacement unit shipped, a missing camera chased down, or an extra kit for a big event, you're their go-to hardware person.
Get hands-on with the cameras. Become the team's expert on our portable smart cameras. Check returned and outgoing units so they're event-ready, handle minor repairs in-house (think SD card mounting and similar small fixes), and flag anything that needs deeper service.
Build the playbook. Document common issues and fixes so the whole team gets smarter over time.
Who you are
Organized to a fault — you can own an inventory system and keep it accurate without anyone looking over your shoulder
A clear communicator, comfortable being the named contact for external partners (UPS) and internal teammates (CSMs)
Hands-on and practical — you enjoy packing, unpacking, and light technical work with physical equipment
Technically confident with consumer electronics, SD cards, and cables, and good at following structured troubleshooting steps
Reliable and punctual, able to work on-site at our Philadelphia office on a regular schedule
Able to lift and move equipment as part of receiving and shipping camera kits
Bonus points for
Experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, AV/event production, or hardware support
A background in sports, broadcast, or live-event operations — or just a real interest in sports technology
Familiarity with ticketing or CRM tools like Intercom
Availability for occasional travel to customer events for on-site setup or support
Schedule
Part-time, hourly employment, on-site at our modern office in central Philadelphia. We are recruiting now for a October 2026 start, beginning with a structured onboarding program.
From November you take ownership of the camera fleet and shipping.
Weekdays: approximately 09:00 to 1:00 ET
Shifts are scheduled at least one week in advance.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate. Onboarding hours are paid at the same rate.
